Join Jablon Studios at the Newark Valley Community Connection April 13th at 2PM to create a glass mosaic photo frame! Take part in this community fundraiser to raise money for the Newark Valley Community Center and make successful art with your friends at the same time! Choose from our massive and premium selection of stained glass, over 50 colors of beautiful glass tiles and glass marbles, ceramic dishes and more to put together your mosaic masterpiece for your photos! We will teach you hot to cut the glass, score the glass, and assemble the glass pieces to create your perfect mosaic for your home, office or as a gift! You will be addicted once you see how easy and successful this is! This is a great activity for kids as well and no experience is needed, so bring the whole family! Spaces are very limited and pre-registering is highly recommended to reserve your spot but there will be room for walk in if space and supplies allow. This will take about 2 hours. Mosaics are one of the only art forms that look good no matter what and with our expert guidance and premium selection for you to choose from, you are guaranteed to be blown away with your mosaic frame! WE PROMISE! The photo frame can hold a 4x6 photo under glass. A picture of the frame we will be supplying is below. You are welcome to bring your own frame to mosaic of equal sizing to use as well. Once you finish the mosaic, you will instruct us with what color grout you would like and Jablon Studios will grout the mosaic for you at our studio and return to the NVCC within 2 weeks time or you can pick up at our studio location in Vestal. There are no cancellations. If you do need to cancel you can transfer your credits to another class or event. All ages are welcome.
